Fans will be thrilled and competitors will be challenged at the 39th Annual O’Reilly Auto Parts Fall 4-Wheel Jamboree Nationals as all-new race courses await at the Indiana State Fairgrounds. The Jamboree is set for Friday, September 18 through Sunday, September 20.
The new course builds come courtesy of the enhanced team the 4-Wheel Jamboree has put in place in 2020 utilizing decades of experience in designing and constructing award-winning off-road tracks. This expertise was already applied early this year with an exciting redesign of the Bloomsburg Jamboree race courses in Pennsylvania, which received rave reviews from attendees and competitors alike.
The General Tire Monster Truck competition will take place on a specially-designed J-Hook track, with two trucks racing at a time. Starting side by side in separate lanes, Monster Trucks will begin their course in a V-shape fashion and hit a tabletop jump that leads into a hairpin turn. Once this turn is completed, the lanes begin to merge together as they race towards a final tabletop jump at the finish line.
Adrenaline-filled freestyle competition will also be part of the General Tire Monster Truck program, with huge Monster Truck jumps dotting the infield. Featured trucks at the Indy Jamboree include: General Tire Monster Truck, Bad Habit, Raminator, Samson, Quad Chaos and Dirt Crew.
New this year at the Indy Jamboree is a double Hill N’ Hole Mud Pit for Mega Truck racers. The Hill and Hole track will measure approximately 60-feet wide allowing for side-by-side race action, along with two huge jumps that will send Mega Trucks soaring through the air into back-to-back mud pits.
Recently announced, Hall of Fame driver Dennis Anderson will be coming out of retirement to compete at the Indy Jamboree aboard the King Sling Mega Truck, as a teammate to his son, Weston, who pilots Bog Hog. The younger Anderson was victorious in July at the Bloomsburg Jamboree aboard Bog Hog.
Mug Bog racers will compete on a standard 150-foot mud bog, except this year they will also race side-by-side.
Also new this year, Tough Trucks will compete on a Short Course-style track, with the start/finish line in front of the grandstands to bring the action closer to fans. The track will be widened to feature side by side racing across a rhythm section, tabletop jump, short jumps, high speed section and hairpin turns. The redesigned track will accommodate both stock and modified Tough Trucks, providing a fun, yet technical race track.
