D&C Designs Introduces Lucid VSL Lighting For Jeeps
D&C Designs now offers Lucid VSL vehicle side lights for Jeep JK, JL, and JT Gladiator trucks making night runs even more fun.

D&C Designs, a new aftermarket manufacturer of solutions-oriented automotive lighting, now offers Lucid VSL vehicle side lights for Jeep JK, JL, and JT Gladiator trucks. Designed to improve lighting for both on and off-road enthusiasts, including overlanders and campers, the lights are sold as a set and solve many important safety issues related to nighttime driving.

Easy to install, the lights bolt onto both sides of the Jeep in the front quarter panel and does not require cutting or brackets for installation. Designed specifically to have a factory look, Lucid VSL lights are available in black, white and all Jeep factory colors based on factory Jeep codes for a perfect match. Custom colors can be ordered.

Made in the USA by D&C Design owners, brothers Chris and Danny Wehunt, this unique solutions-oriented lighting especially solves peripheral viewing problems related to nighttime off-road travel. The lights integrate with the vehicle’s factory blinkers so whether traveling on road or off, turns are more easily identified.

When used for off-roading, the lights provide a full field of view that illuminates the trail safely at night. Rated at 2500 Lumens and drawing less than three amps, Lucid VSL side lights add another important layer of safety to off-roading through mountainous or rocky terrain from dusk until dawn.

“Trail riding at night is a whole new experience with our lights,” D&C Designs co-owner, Danny Wehunt, said. “We really take safety seriously. No one wants to have an accident hundreds of miles from a hospital or break an axle, miles from a shop.”

“Because we do a lot of nighttime off-roading, we understand the importance of being able to see all that is around you. And these lights are a must when upgrading to flat fenders which often lack front signal lights. So far, the response has been all positive and we have big plans for new product development that we hope to announce soon.”

While not currently available for the Mojave or 392 models, Lucid VSL vehicle side lights are available for purchase.

“We have a lot of people that ask about our VSL Lucid lights on the trails,” Jeep builder Rob Allen, said. “As far as fitment, color, and function, these lights are perfect.”
