Monster Trucks are Back and Going Head-to-Head with Mega Trucks in Indy

The 40th anniversary of the O'Reilly Auto Parts Fall 4-Wheel Jamboree will feature a first-ever Monster vs Mega freestyle competition and long-jump contest. A full field of the country's top Mega Trucks and drivers will also compete to be King of the Hill-N-Hole in high flying, mud slinging racing all weekend.

 

“With this year serving as the 40th anniversary of the Indy Jamboree, we wanted to add a couple of new and exciting elements to the infield show,” said Jonathan Moore, EVP, Events, Bonnier Corp. “Building on the great success we have had with Mega Trucks, we are featuring a field of over 25 of the top Mega Truck in the country. We are taking it a step further and upping the ante, having them compete head-to-head in the Long Jump Contest and Freestyle with Monster Trucks to give everyone something to get excited for.”

 

Long Jump Contest

Witness the battle of Monsters vs Megas as they take part in a first-ever long jump contest at a 4-Wheel Jamboree. Each truck will race towards an 11-foot tall launch ramp and attempt to fly the furthest distance.

 

Freestyle Competition

Watch Monsters and Megas let it all hang out in the Monsters vs Megas Freestyle Challenge.

 

Hill-N-Hole Racing

A field of 24 of the country’s top Mega Trucks will compete head-to-head in some high-flyin', mud slingin' racing to be crowned King of the Hill-N-Hole.

 

Mud Bog Racing

A staple of the 4-Wheel Jamboree, 6 classes of head-to-head Mud Bog racing, will see competitors enter the bog and blast to the finish line.

 

In addition to the infield entertainment, the Indy 4-Wheel Jamboree also features some of the country’s top custom 4x4s on display, show-only specials from vendors in the Performance Marketplace, a burnout contest, a dyno challenge and a chance to ride in a Monster Truck.
