Quadratec recently announced the launch of its new line of Carnivore bumpers exclusively for Wrangler YJ and TJ models. The bumpers are available for the front and rear and are engineered to withstand the most demanding on or off-trail conditions with enhanced recovery points, auxiliary light mounting solutions, and winch mounting options.
"We are thrilled to introduce our new heavy-duty Carnivore bumpers, giving Jeep Wrangler YJ and TJ owners their first new bumper choice in a long time," said Brand Manager Mike James. "These bumpers are the result of years of research and development, customer feedback, and rigorous testing. We believe they are the best on the market for Jeep enthusiasts who take their vehicles to the next level of performance and style."
Carnivore bumpers offer robotically welded 5mm steel plating and 6mm frame mount brackets, and feature a durable black powder-coated finish to guard against corrosion. Front bumpers are offered in full-width sizing to protect fender flares and tires, or a stubby edition for those who want more aggressive trail riding adventures. Full-width versions are designed with integrated fog light holes that fit 3-inch cube lights, as well as paintable stone mesh guards. Stubby bumpers also come with stone mesh guards as accent pieces that allow a more aggressive look.
Carnivore Wrangler TJ bumpers can also accommodate an optional overrider grille guard that is slotted across the top to fit a light bar or auxiliary light cubes. Each front bumper includes an integrated winch mount that fits most winches up to 12,000 pounds, installs to factory mounting locations with no drilling and has two reinforced two hook mounts that double as D-ring locations.
The rear bumper is form-fitted to accommodate larger spare tires, includes a 2-inch receiver hitch for accessory racks and employs two D-ring clevis tabs as well as mesh-covered 3-inch cube light mount brackets.
